when i lived on my own, it wasn't that often tbh, i had a couple of sheets, and tended to change them hurridly if i'd actually managed to convince a woman to come home with me (it was a special occasion which called for special clean sheets  )
Pretty much the basis I work on.

Consequently my sheets haven't been changed since 1997.....:(

Either when the OH’s hairwax has built up to leave a greasy imprint on the pillowcase, or the cat has coated the duvet in a layer of moulted fur.

Obviously my side of the bed remains fragrant and clean, it is only boyfriend and cat responsible for spoilage! :p

Between once a week and once a month, depending on how organised I am being at the time - washing and drying the sheets isn't the problem, just that I am usually asleep in bed when I am at home, so can't really change sheets in my sleep. :)

But I am one of those weird people who will iron bedding - nothing better than getting in a fresh bed, all crisp and ironed - heaven :)

No-one else sleeps in my bed so considerations about that aren't relevant to me :)

I've been known to do that from time to time. Not so much these days but when I lived on my own, all the fucking time.

I think about once a month really, maybe a bit less - when I notice that they smell bad :o
I would do it more often but life's too short really.

As it seems that most people like freshly-ironed bedding, but can't be bothered to do it themselves, I think I should start a little business up - send me your (washed, of course!) bedding, and I'll send it back all nice and ironed :)

As long as I've got some nice music playing (has to be the right tempo to keep the, ahem, rhythm going, I can get through a king-sized sheet fairly quickly :)

When I'm a multimillionaire, I will pay someone to put clean, pressed linen sheets on my bed every day. Also, I shall wear a new pair of socks every day, and gleefully throw the worn ones in the bin every evening :)

Try to do it once a week but sometimes every two weeks. As I need to pay for my washing machine every use I tend todo a massive was every week and smetimes forget to but the sheets in my washing basket.

Everytime I have a fight with the boyfriend and can't stand the smell of him in my bed.

So... at least once, usually twice a week.

I iron my bedding.

And try to change it about once a week, or when my boyfriend tells me that the bed smells, and calls me a stinky disgrace :p

My top bed/bedding related tip though, is when you go on holiday, before you leave, change your bedding for nice clean sheets, and make it. When you get home and am all knackered it's an absolute joy to collapse in to a nice clean bed. This is doubly nice after a festival.
