I seem to remember a certain Portuguese kid who looked out of his depth for two seasons....shit what was his name....

Jesus my head hurts something chronic this morning (as I type from my bed ;))

Utd were all over us early on and we looked asleep then Eto'o's goal chnaged everything and we controlled the game forcing Utd into mistakes. Mind you I was surprised at how ineffective many of their players where...Giggs had an off night, Anderson looked average and Carrick was shown up to be the wholly average player he is by a better midfield.

And now wer're the first Spanish side to do the treble...not bad for Pep's first season :D

Congrats, brilliant performance. I think as a Utd fan it's easy to say we didn't turn up or had a poor game, but the truth is your midfield completely nullified any couter attacks we tried to put together.

funny this, i'm sure last time i looked at this thread it was almost 2-1 in favour of people saying manure would win it. yet this morning its 4-3 in favour of barca. wonder how that happened.

most pleasing game last night, ferguson displayed the tactical nouse of a louse, loved the way that no one dared even try to tackle iniesta or messi, only slight disappointment was the petulant prick not getting sent off.

worra knob!

A Manchester United fan in Nigeria has allegedly killed four people when he drove into a crowd of Barcelona supporters after his team's Champions League defeat. Skip related content
Police said the crowd in the town of Ogbo were celebrating Barcelona's victory when the minibus drove into them.

A police spokeswoman said ten people were injured and the driver was arrested.

She said: "The driver had passed the crowd then made a U-turn and ran into them."

Barcelona beat Manchester United 2-0 in what has been hailed as a "dream final" between two of Europe's best clubs.

Both teams have large fan bases in Nigeria, Africa's most populous nation.
knob!

Wasn't it in Nigeria that an Arsenal fan hung himself the other week after his team got knocked out by Utd in the semi-final?

Think they take their soccerball a bit too seriously there.

Kenya...:(

At least we (The Arsenal) dont go around killing people if we lose....

We'd better hope fans in those countries with a sense of being the 'wronged underdog' don't start backing Sheffield United. If they do, there's no hope for Africa ever getting over its reputation for internecine strife :(
