Celebrity Big Brother - Hijack

I can't watch those bits either, it hurts :(

The roller-skating brother is so full of shit.

I bet they are shagging each other.

I CAN'T WATCH COS I HAVE NO TELLY!!!!

Since my telly broke I have discovered that life without a telly doesn't actually have to be that different to life with a telly  given that I can watch Jeremy Kyle and Corry on ITV.com and the entire previous 7 days worth of programmes on the bbc website, however unless I install that stupid 4od thing from channel 4 (which I did a while back and it just fucked up so I gave up on it) I can't actually watch this!

<goes to read a book>

:(

(Actually I say that, but I expect some kind soul will have stuck it up on youtube by tomorrow :D )

I cant see how this format is going to work.

I can't see how it can fail. Its the perfect antidote to years of absolute shite vaccous contestants and watching people fuck bottles and each other for maximum TV coverage.

Many people have E4 now the digital switchover is looming

Why are they mking fun of the big guy? I think they should have made the horrible looking model look like a goon.

I like that one girl though. Don't know what her name is.

It were far more painful to watch on that first night than any other BB moment I have seen before. And that will only get worse, probably.

I thought he was brilliant going along with it, top man!
It was funny to start with but got worse as everyone got wierded out

Of course it is, thats why its interesting. Its flipping 'first impressions' on its head and challenging social behaviour.

It was painful to watch, especially as it continued and got more difficult to get any interaction from people ( because they were freaked) but once theyve all had a top party and got to know him I think he will reap the full benefit. As it was revealed on the screen you could watch peoples faces change.

apart from the big ginger one then they're all fucking annoying up themselves wankers.

There I said it.

And they're fucking stupid too. You go in to the Big Brother House and are greeted by a huge ginger scottish man in a ridiculous hat spouting gibberish...

do you think

a) hang on a minute, this fella may be part of some sort of elaborate ploy. What's this show called again? big brother hijack? hmmm.. I may be onto something, I shall keep this under my hat.

or

b) who's this idiot? I am immensely talented, very very good looking but I also have brains and am at the top of my field which makes everybody jealous cos of all my success at such a young age and that, but I am also really really modest and keep it real and stuff. He's obviously mentally ill and so i shall ignore him and hang with all the cool people?

I dont disagree with either of those.. I think there was probably a mixture of the two reactions but everyone was playing things extrenely close to their chests!

I think you're probably a bit less grumpy than I am.

I'm boycotting this in favour of doing something more useful, like individually numbering every grain of rice I posess.:)

Sounds like an Art Project to me, that Leeds woman may nick it.

I actually really liked her cleaning squares!
Bless her.

Her mum saying she kept finding little labels saying 'cleaned by' all over the house.
Then adding with perfect comic timing that they were hard to get off.

Has the Scottish chappy won his task yet?

I turned over after the boxer went in - it was too much for my cringe-o-meter

Yes he won.

What has happend to Davina? Has she been sacked or what?

No I don't think so, I think this is BB's attempt to hang onto Dermot after he reportedly said he was quiting BBLB to focus on X Factor.

Oh good. I thought he did really well, and Lucas saying 'Relax now John*, relax' to give him a break was quite funny.

* was his name John? I was clearly paying less attention than I thought

So, do you reckon she will be back for Big Brother in the summer?

I didn't know Dermot was considering leaving Big Brother. Perhaps he should :)

Yes, his name was John, and yes, Matt did keep saying "relax", just before the camera went off the house. I guess Matt was getting a signal that he should do so.

I thought John tried really hard, and clearly found it very difficult, and was quite uncomfortable at some of what he was asked to do. I am glad he passed, because he did work at it.

me and my boy loved this last night. :D
matt could have been a bit more on the ball and he really should have failed John for not doing all the stuff he asked. no point making it too easy is it.

the other housemates seemed to be so much in shock at being on the telly that they didnt understand it had been a wind up even when he was telling them.

I am not convinced that the housemates are particularly aware of what Big Brother is all about at all. I get a sense that most of them live in their own little worlds, and have agreed to be part of this, partly as a paid job (are they paid?), but mostly because they have been told that it will launch their careers.

I wouldn't be surprised if several of them walk, or try to walk and are dissuaded.
