Cat flaps, collars and butter on the paws

Any old wives who can tell me?
Did someone call?

The butter thing does work, honestly, I don't know why though
We're moving soon, with luck. I'll be getting my boys microchipped.

Cat flat installed and Issy loves it :)

I'd started taking her out a few days before, then managed to forget to let her in for a few hours one morning and she still came back, so I didnt seem to need the butter on the paws.

Not sure if its just my little darling, but she didnt even squirm when I put her new collar (with magnet) on. And I only had to shove her out through the cat flap twice and back in to the house once for her to get the hang of it.

What a proud parent I am :D

I moved my cat Marvin into my new flat last Saturday and he has been really well behaved. I kept him in for a few days but when I let him out for the first time I made sure I was home all day so that if he got a bit confused or couldn't get back through the cat flap I was there to help him. I kept calling him every half an hour to start with just so he knew where his home was. He has been really good and has come back straight away when I have called him.

I am not sure butter on the paws works, I haven't tried it on Marvin but friends of mine have said it works.

Just make sure you give you cats lots of fuss to make sure he knows where home is and i'm sure he wont run away.

Oh Issy gets lots and lots of fuss made of her. She comes in and squeaks for attention. If she doesnt get it, she goes out and then comes back in again, and repeats this til I make a fuss that she's come home :D
