I saw Power with the Las in about 1991 in the Glasgow Plaza. He was an arrogant twat, and clearly thought himself the star of the band. (The support band on the day, the Milltown Brothers, were much better).
The whole point of Cast was that they were neither crap nor not crap - the were fair to middling, average, pleasant-ish, bland.........
The lead singer always had a face you wanted to punch though....reminds me of a friend at the time saying 'Every time I see him singing his little Scouse heart out, I want to punch his little Scouse lights out.....'.
Nice article about Walkaway here, about 15 years ago it inspired me to quit a job that was slowly killing me so this one has a special place in my heart
