Oh god, they were truly one of the worst, along with Space.
Liverpool, so much to answer for.

They were tragic, but not on the epic scale of Space

They made a good noise live. First album was a good, straight forward, guitar pop of the type that lots of Liverpool bands have always made.

They didn't create anything hip, edgy or dangerous. They kept it simple....and jangly.

Nothing wrong with them at all. Don't think they were trying to be a muscial monolith and some of the singles were good 3 minute pop songs.
