The team needs fresh blood as does the board but unlike the team which needs a complete overhaul, the board needs that blood to enhance what is already there. From a personal POV it needs members with a different view of the non league game who might have the contacts and influence to persuade the sort of players the club needs to get back on the right track in the league. As much as there are players I feel could be kept for next season, the shit we have suffered over last few years I'm happy to see all of them ditched from top to bottom and start again.
The board have to ask themselves what they bring to our wonderful football club and if they are not fit for purpose they need to stand down and get off their ego trip.
We are actually in a good position and need to move forward collectively.
Happy to ‘stand down’from my ‘ego trip’ anytime if you or others want to boost their ego instead. As much as there are players I feel could be kept for next season, the shit we have suffered over last few years I'm happy to see all of them ditched from top to bottom and start again.

I'd probably keep Chambers too, because he plays his guts out every match - and it's not his fault he has no backup around him - yes JB I'm looking at youAverage age of our top ten appearance makers this season is 32. Last time we got promoted it was 28. The profile of the squad this year was all wrong, keeping the core of it together won’t change that.
I’d probably keep Wanadio, maybe Wynter and Jeffrey on the hope they could stay fit. Mason can cover a number of positions. Mills, if he could move into a player/coach role. That’s probably it.
Only as the centre of a back 3 with support like Wynter and Mason provide; otherwise he’s a liability.I'd probably keep Chambers too, because he plays his guts out every match - and it's not his fault he has no backup around him - yes JB I'm looking at you
In that time how many other defenders has he played alongside of, how many goalkeepers has he played in front of and how many different defensive formations have we had? Maybe the lack of consistency has played more than a small part?Chambers has played 90% plus games over the last two seasons, during which time we’ve shipped over 160 goals. He’s of course not solely at fault for that, but he’s been the consistent component of a defence that has been way below the standard for this level.
But more than that, I don’t think you could say he’s taken the defence by the scruff of the neck during that time, and been the leader to turn things around - which is not to say he hasn’t been giving it everything, I just don’t think his maximum is good enough to be part of a defence that gets you promoted.
Maybe. Maybe not. Is it worth another season trying to find out?In that time how many other defenders has he played alongside of, how many goalkeepers has he played in front of and how many different defensive formations have we had? Maybe the lack of consistency has played more than a small part?
YesMaybe. Maybe not. Is it worth another season trying to find out?
And he grabs a few goals too - big threat at set pieces (no comment on delivery of such by sundry others)Not sure I agree. CB is all about partnerships, and two CB should complement each other. When playing with the right partner Chambers is not a liability
There isn’t a single player who deserves to stay at the club for next season, even big names like Wanadio and Mills have consistently underperformed for the majority of the season. Whether we want to go through the process of building a new squad from scratch is another question. Quinton certainly has not done enough to stay in the job. We stayed up because the teams below us were somehow even worse, not because of any great change that Quinton made. Big decisions for the club to make in the next week or so.
I think its between him and McKimm.. Both proving themselves well with local talent and with Hamlet connections.....whether they want to come ..
You could say exactly the same of Adeniyi's near disastrous season at Merstham, who only survived returning to the Combined Counties League 2 years ago by winning a relegation play-off against Egham. Can't take anything away from what McKimm's done at CVPM - they've had an incredible season - but his sides at Tonbridge were very route one, and it didn't work out at Carshalton either. Maybe he's developed as a manager, but I'd be wary of going after him, personally.
He’s very hands on down there. Remember when I went for a trial with their newly formed women’s team he was down there introducing himself to all the players. I’m not sure what would persuade him to move to Champion Hill. Also wondering if he’d put himself forward post Gavin and been passed over in favour of the managers that were employed?Yeh only going off results and the very infrequent highlights, but I don't think Quinton has done enough to warrant another crack. The Hanwell and Bognor results are stinkers.
Peter Adeniyi is the clear choice, IMO. South London based, knows the club inside out, very bright chap. I'd like to see what he could do with training three times a week, too, because I assume he's only got two nights a week at Carshalton. Only trouble is I don't know why he'd leave Carshalton to join us. He's settled there, liked by club and supporters, has a youth setup (!!!), and a squad that he's built over a number of years.
P.S. Steve King was at our game on Saturday!
Throw in Cheshunt and Hanwell defeats and that's some runGiven their embarrassingly atrocious form, Hamlet should consider themselves very lucky not to be relegated.

Three points from six games and the worst form in the league. That's some way to end the season.Throw in Cheshunt and Hanwell defeats and that's some run
