sorry fella it really is a stretch still. If heskey and crouch were both injured then maybe just maybe he woud be in the squad but i wouldn't trust him.

I can see Capello callinghim up if he continues this form. Crouch isn't scoring many. Cole's now scoring at the same time as holding up the play and making goals for others. Could be great for england with someone like rooney next to him.

Not because I don't think he isn't good enough(he isn't; yet) but because fuck England. He is just starting to show the qualities that have had several of his managers raving about and Zola has him playing with confidence and joy for the first time in his career, and the last thing West Ham need is for him to be selected, and then cunted off by the 'fans' and coming back to us broken again.

England have destroyed Ashton's West Ham career, I'd rather they didn't take another of our forwards thankyouverymuch.

Too true! ... funny how English football fans seem to know more than those actually working in the game.

This thread is a testimony to fat - beer swilling - Take away scoffers -never get off their arses from watching the TV - superior football experts, who fink they know better.

I am really pleased for Cole and I hope those West Ham fans (And others thinks Eboue for Arsenal) who readily boo their own players have it shoved up their arses when he scores against Spain!

So many fans do not stop to consider that it is not talent alone that makes a good player and that confidence is a key issue to playing in front of 30,000 plus people. Most of us would fold having to give a speech to 20 people.
