    Given the station is still in use I'm surprised its hasn't been snapped up by some developer to convert into trendy apartments by now.

    It needs a ton of work as it's been empty for a long time. It was used as the terminus of a tourist steam line for a while, which seemed like a perfect use. I can't remember why that was disbanded.

    Apparently , it may become the home of a museum for the Army Medical Core (relocated from Aldershot) , quite fitting if it happens as it was apparently used as a hospital in WW1 - that would be protect it nicely and be yet another attraction for Cardiff ....

    And those awful flats on the right make it all the worse. Such a shame.

    Update - £2 million in today's Autumn statement . Now safe and to have use as a museum. :thumbs:
