Cardiff match delayed due to fighting.......

As a side not, I met a riot cop at a soiree ( yes soiree ) once, I didn't let on that I'd justcome from the match that he'd been policing at.

He talked of ' putting on a good show', ' didn't want to know', and 'legging people up the street'.

Sound familliar to anyone?

Meeting off-duty cops at parties, the social nightmare of the concerned activist/footie fan/citizen :D

I was at a mate's New Year's do a few years ago where she embarrassedly warned me not to skin up in front of her friend's new b/f, for he was a traffic cop. Dunno how the fat fucker got his leg over the motorcycle, but he made a really ostentatious point of leaving the room every time someone reached for a packet of rizlas!

We've done something wrong, I tells ya, if we find ourselves in parties with off-duty cops!

Most of the coppers I know smoke weed.

As a Wolves fan I was at the match as well and from where I was the response from the West Midlands Police was totally over the top. But saying that its not a suprise because they have a right suspect element (and thats from a copper that was thrown out of the force for guess what? Kicking the shit out of someone in the name of the law)

I saw some video shot from the stand above the away end and it only confirmed what I saw from the other side of the ground.

After the game it was a nightmare from what ive been told especially as the police were going mad after a couple of their own got seriously hurt plus certain other groups from other west midlands clubs come down to Wolverhampton to add to the days problems.
