Cardiff City FC 06/07

I was very tempted this morning to post along the lines of best footballing performance I'd seen at Ninian EVER, outplayed them for skill etc., but reading the Echo tonite those are excatly the type of cooments being made. Best thing is tho by pulling 18500 we ahve an extra £100k in the bank, a couple more games like that and koumas will be on his way down, but would he get in the team now?:D

Gotta say, Koumas is the best player I've ever seen in a City shirt. But I thought he wanted to come but isn't being allowed to?

I asked last season and I'll ask again: does anyone want to submit match reports for the CCFC section of urban75?

It would be nice to keep it up to date.

I'll do the Stoke games !! :p

"Sorry Stoke crashed to yet another nightmare defeat at the hands of a limited but hardworking <insert team>. Tony Pulis' dreary tactics were yet again exposed as both negative and limited when, for the sixth time in a month he fielded an experimental 10-0-0 formation........"

Parry was supposed to have really delivered today. Looks like he's responding well to DJ's promptings and the competition he has for his place. Joint top after 3

2 wins and a draw. Third in the league. A reasonable start for City I reckon. Much better than taking 1 point from your first 3 games…. Eh Arafat? :p

You never used to get 4 sides of the stadium singing to a man woman and child.

The family stand even set one off.

Only 500 or so Coventry there

You'd think CArdiff would be one of the best matches to attend as the away fans get a roofed terrace ( something the youngsters haven't seen )

Anyway not as good as tuesday , but unilke city sides before palyed football til the end and didn't hoof it in a panic to score.

We're going to be contenders if this continues

Coventry were good and came for the win.

Bendeus, earlier this afternoon.

AAAAAArrrrrrrrgggghhhh!

Sam Hammam has ended Cardiff City's interest in Jason Koumas.
"We are today officially halting our interest in signing Jason Koumas in this transfer window out of fairness to all parties involved; the player, our supporters and West Brom." He told the official website.

All that endless "will he won't he" tedium for fakkin' nothing. I want my money back!

Woohoo! We've spanked Leeds at Elland Road again 1-0!

And we're top of the league.

Tidy!

And the Hammers are second in the Prem!!!

Cue an alcohol filled celebration!

Man! I love spanking Leeds. It's so good of them to keep giving us points like this. Anyone going to the Brum game on Saturday? I suspect it could be a sellout.

So what's the consensus on Bates throwing Ridsdale out of the ground for celebrating City's winner? I think it's hilarious. I don't particularly like Ridsdale but I detest Bates and he must have been fuming to lose at home to a bunch of sheep-shaggers.... again :D

Ha ha! Lost to Barnet!:D :D Shame!!!!!!!!;)

West ham supporters should be very careful about taking the piss about other teams tripping on banana skins, being as they are the World Champions at going out of cups to shit opposition!:D

The result speaks volumes of how the League Cup has been devalued to the point of uselessness - look at the two line ups:

v Leeds
Alexander, McNaughton (Johnson 87), Purse, Loovens, Ledley, Kamara (Flood 68), Scimeca, McPhail, Parry, Chopra (Blake 90), Thompson.

v Barnet
Howard, Gunter, Johnson, Weston (Blake 45), Jacobson, Flood, Cooper (Ledley 66), McKoy, Kamara (Parry 66), Campbell, Glombard.

I can understand why Cardiff treated the game like a joke, but it's taking the piss out of the fans who bothered to show up.

luton also put half a reserve side out tonight (and only just sneaked past brizzle rovers on pens.) tbh, i think it was a good run out for some of our fringe players - a chance for them to get a whole game and get some sharpness at the start of the season. but i know what you mean about the cup being devalued. still, it's probably the best chance for clubs like luton and cardiff to win a trophy though
