Cardiff City FC 06/07

Awww, you lower leaguers try to have rivalries just like us premiership clubs.

Bless :)

Have I missed something here?

So what's the view like down there and doesn't your neck hurt looking up to Cardiff?

That's really all you've got isn't it? Great MP3 btw, I'd have been gutted if we didn't get out of that terrible financial situation. Enjoy your Championship football while it lasts. In fact enjoy your football club while it lasts.

Good luck with your religation battle next season.

Classic lower division Swansea quality!

You Jacks want to get over your obsession with higher division superior teams, you know. It's not healthy.

You should be worrying about the teams in your division - you know, massive outfits like Yeovil, Scunthorpe and Gillingham.

As for Cardiff, we've got bigger teams like Birmingham, Leeds, Sunderland, West Brom and Wolverhampton to look forward to.

Enjoy Chesterfield!

Cardiff City, a shambolic, cheating excuse for a football club.

Oh dear.
You're not very good at this banter lark, you know. You're waaaay too bitter to be any fun.

I guess that comes from having to look up a whole division to catch sight of your rivals.

Bwahahaha!!!

Couldn't help but add in this snippet from the same site regarding our old friends, Stoke:

:D :D :D You reading, Bomber?

Oi! you leave my team out of this, I thought it was CCFC thread  :D

Ed - is there a vbulletin plugin that eliminates pesky lower league football fans from 'the official 2006-2007 Cardiff City thread'?

"Cardiff welcomed Barnsley to the Championship with a stunning display of attacking football at Oakwell" (source-bbc)

blooooobirds! :D

anyone go?

Top start to the season. In stark contrast to our friends from Jackland:

"League One new-boys Cheltenham stun a defensively weak Swansea with two early second-half goals". (source-bbc)

Any team that loses at home to Cheltenham can’t have any real aspirations of promotion can they Arafat?

Oh! That cheered me up no end !! :p

Hope you've kept your crashhelmet Bomber for when we finish above you and drop birdshit on you're bonce again.

P.S. you going to make an appearance this year at Ninian?

I see Cameron Jerome got sent off too, bet he's already sorry he left. Sounds like we did really well on Saturday, 25-1 to get promoted at the moment, could be worth a bet.

I thought CCFC played well yesterday.

They have a great stadium and was particularly impressed with MacSheffrey and the defender they have bought from West Ham.

Coming from 1-0 behind to beat Sunderland is no mean feat.

:D but

Not bad result tonight - Cardiff 1-1 West Brom-with a good 18,000 crowd.

BBC say we got a "deserved point against West Brom at Ninian Park" which can;t be bad.

Bollocks- WBA were lucky to hang on from the second minute

My mate was there and said it was 2 points dropped by City. 70% possession and Hartson had a nightmare. The young Arsenal full-back is shit hot apparently.

BLOOOOOOOOOBIRDS!!

I was mighty impressed, if we play like that all season then play-offs are a minimum expectation!

Bryan "Interesting" Robson appears to be of the same opinion

"It was a very competitive game and Cardiff threw everything at us but we hung on and perhaps finished the stronger.
"On this form Cardiff are sure to be challenging for play-off places at the end of the season as they played with a lot of energy, passed the ball well and caused us problems.

"It was only in the closing minutes that I felt we gradually got on top and at the end we were the most likely side to nick the victory."

The messageboards are going nuts; some old timers babbling on about it being the best City performance they've seen since the Jurassic period, etc, etc.

Jacks just managed to nick a draw with S(cunt)horpe :D

Is Dave Jones the best manager we've had for fucking centuries, or what?!

He may be an ex-scummer (boooo!) but he got shat on by them when he went through that very publicised accusation. I've always though that during the whole affair he handled himself excellently :)

(even though he's a scummer )

I think it was a much better result for WBA than for us, in that they were lucky to get a point and we should have won. I thought for long periods of the game we battered them, and although I'd have taken a draw before the game, afters I was a bit disappointed.

Anway roll on saturday and a Michael Chopra hat-trick:D

I asked last season and I'll ask again: does anyone want to submit match reports for the CCFC section of urban75?

It would be nice to keep it up to date.

I would but I'm lucky if I get to 1 or 2 games year at the moment.
