Carabao Cup: Morrisons supermarket in London to host first-round draw
"from Morrisons to wem-berley...""
Looks like we're out first round then. John Barnes screws us again!
at least charlton only have one match this time...
ETA - story from 2017 here
on a more serious note, last year there were no replays - penalties on the night if it's a draw. anyone know if that's still the rule this time round?
Am sure that is the same. Guessing no VAR for the early games at least?
Up the North End
Carabao Cup fourth round draw
Everton v Watford
Aston Villa v Wolverhampton Wanderers
Manchester City v Southampton
Burton v Leicester
Crawley v Colchester
Chelsea v Manchester United
Oxford v Sunderland
Liverpool v Arsenal
Good draw that. Couple of big games there but pleasing to see Oxford or Sunderland and Crawley or Colchester guaranteed to be in the quarter finals.
I was initially a bit disappointed about that draw, given it also means at least one in each QF will be going out.
I know that makes me sound like I'm looking at the negatives, but it was actually because I thought "if they play two different sides then they could both get through!"
Fantastic night for that 16 year old who scored for Rochdale at Old Trafford to earn them a draw.
Sad to see plucky grimsby ejected by chelsea
Hard draw for Arsenal. Still it is a chance for the youngsters to shine like in 2007 when it was a 3-6 thriller. Well I can dream.
Bit shit that Col U and Crawley got each other but at least that's a Div 4 side in the quarters.
Grimsby's goal was a belter
Liverpool vs The Arse. 1-1 Game on.
Up the Arse. 1-2
1-3 Get in there.
Penalty to Liverpool. Bollocks 2-3
Fucking hell 3-4 now.
4-4 Anyone's game.
Fucking 4-5 & 20 minutes to go. Up the Arse!
Incredible game and some truly amazing goals!
I am only listening to it on the radio but it is a blinder.
I'm so glad I went to work the evening shift and didn't call in sick like I wanted to
I think the lucky winners will qualify for next seasons Europa League 2
