Car of Your Dreams? Money no object...

Even better, a pissed one. :)
One only wants to be seen as out of control, being completely out of control can get one thrown on a trajectory intersecting earth, rivers, plate glass windows, or concrete constructions :( :D

I lurrrve mustangs. Always used to make the extra dollar effort to rent one when I visited California. Actually quite shit cars in many ways, but a V8, on CA open roads... it all fits.

Few nice ones here for you Roadkill:

Cosworth

Mexico

RS1600 Can't imagine how expensive this one is!

Phwoar! Fapfapfapfapfapfap. That Mexico is truly beautiful, but so it ought to be for ten grand!

Another few that have occurred to me:

Lancia Stratos - fast, beautiful and rare

BMW M3 - the original '80s version. Lovely, noisy, rear-drive thing with tail-out handling and a snorty engine.

Jaguar SS100 - not that quick, but a lovely-looking pre-war sports car.

Nah, don't like the interior :p

What were they thinking of?

Nowt wrong with that, it's an RS Lightweight for God's sake. (although I couldn't live with a Guards Red 911) Well maybe an RS Lightweight

I've seen them in Mint Green and they make my heart beat faster.

You want a car that women walk past and laugh at?

Each to their own I suppose. :D :p

People who point and laugh at Minis lack for taste!

You can add a few Minis to my list - some genuine old '60s Coopers, a 90s Rover Mini Cooper for nipping about town and some modified ones for steaming around the backroads in.

They are laughing because you know what they say about big car, no willy, well they are blushing at how well hung that mini driver must be.

Money no object?

Some, any or all of the following:

Lamborghini Gallardo
Aston Martin V8 Vantage
Ferrari Enzo
Caterham 7 CSR 260 Superlight
BMW M5
Bugatti Veyron
Bowler Wildcat

I could go on, but I'd be here all day :D

I agree about the Alvis, though I'd probably go for a later one with power steering. Lovely.

One or more of the following (I like old and rare cars);

Alvis 3 litre coupe / convertible
Jaguar XJC coupe (mid-70s)
Lagonda (1974 model)
Maserati Bora
Gordon Keeble
Aston Martin DBS Vantage (6 cylinder)
Bristol 412 convertible
BMW 3.0 CSL
Porsche 911RS
Citroen SM

and maybe something more modern if the old one breaks down, so one or more of these;

Honda NSX sports
Lexus LS400/430
Audi S8
Mercedes 420 SE

There's a Macau Blue '92 e30 M3 Cabriolet with 17" AC Schnitzer alloys on Pistonheads for 12.5k that...

:)

I can't be much of a dreamer because I'd just like a BMW 7 series. I sat in an old one when I was a kid and it was like being in my front room. Some presence it had, and I have long legs.

Gordon Keeble

Citroen SM

Nice choice with the Gordon Keeble. I long for one each time I see one. Lovely dash, looks like something off a private jet with all those dials.

I go past a silver SM each morning to work in Cambridge. It never moves and seems to be gathering moe rust as each day goes past. A very brave person has taken that one on.
