Remember in the closing stages of BSG where they discover a planet devastated by nuclear war and find a design of cylon that is not as thier own?

'All this has happened before and will happen again'

Also the final BSG episode suggests that the god 'Don't call her that' has been running the same model over and over with minor variations.

YEah but they didnt know about the other cylons then. Like the flyby music it was just a wink to the old version of the series, there is no need to try and shoe horn that in to the new series script.
