Capital Muggers Increase.

Some people have high expectations of what nice shiny things they feel they ought to have, but don't have any morals or self-restraint to make them think that they should earn a living like everyone else.
Some people who are doing very well for themselves confuse material affluence with moral virtue.

Do us a favour....how do you democratise the media ? Vote each day on which fairy liqued advert we want shown ?
I always thought the police were chosen from Joe Public.
Or do you believe that they are grown in a tank on a farm ?
And schools do teach citizenship.

You've been reading the guardian again I think.

1) Sack all editors and shoot all media proprietors. Information dished out to the public should be created, discussed and vetted by the public along Indymedia lines.

2) A certain personality type finds the percept of power availible in the police as appealing and these are exactly the bunch of toerags that should be stopped from joining up. All able bodied and minded people should do national service in a variety of different positions including the filth. Authority within the filth should be rotated as often as possible to eliminate corruption and all masons should be shot.

3) Yes

4) Schools and education need to be revolutionised as what they do at the mo is fuck all.

5) Ouch, that smarts!

There is a vast swathe of kids out there who smoke dope like they smoke fags. You tell me where some of them get the money for it. I'll tell you..they go out and mug people. Fact. I have sat across from a 14 yr old robber as he cried his eyes out. His excuse for mugging the 82 yr old disabled grandmother and breaking her arm was ...I am addicted to skunk.
We're not all responsible cannabis users are we ? Vastly unlikely.

Skunk is not additictve. The lack of knoweldge on drugs by the police and media is frightening.

If the skunk was any good all he would of mugged her for would have been a Mars bar.

i remember what i was going to say now. increased child benefit so that parents can stay at home and bring up their children rather than having to be out at work in order to survive. that way the kids at least get a chance to have a parent around to guide them.

...and you believed that?

Cannabis? What about iPods?
Street robbery soars as iPod users targeted

POLICE have blamed a sharp rise in the number of street robberies on the increasing popularity of iPods, MP3 players and the new generation of internet-connected mobile phones. Figures to be released by the Home Office later this month are expected to reveal that muggings rose by almost 40% in some parts of the country last year. In London the number of robberies increased for the first time in three years, reversing a steep downward trend.

...

Chief Superintendent Paul Forrester of Merseyside police said that many of the victims were students and teenagers. “Some children carry phones and iPods [worth] over £600 and they are making themselves walking targets,” he said.

Cannabis can be addictive for some people. Not in a physical way like heroin or alcohol, but it can definitely be psychologically addictive for some people.

Sure, but not as much as tobacco, and for some people alcohol - and maybe as much as tea and coffee. How likely is it that people are going out mugging to finance their tobacco, alcohol or coffee habits...

...or even to pay for their internet connection, due to being addicted to forums and online games?

I'd say I was psychologically addictive to skunk in the sense that I really crave it when I don't have it.
Not that I go out mugging people though and never would, it's nothing to do with skunk, it's a question of morals.
