Canada - Ottawa or Montreal?

traffic lights..the true measurment of a towns growth .. there were none, none at all when i move here and now they are everywhere,..once one lot went up it was like an epidemic....

They keep wanting to put up another set of them in town here. We keep fighting them. We already have two of the evil things up - that's enough!!!

I hate being the only thing on the road at 3 in the morning and having to sit there while the lights change. The other side always seems to have the advanced green, too.

Pierrefonds has changed a lot since then. Back then, it was a couple of housing developments sprinkled through open spaces and farmers fields. Now, it's just one large suburb - traffic lights every 30 feet or so. <shudder> Price of progress, I suppose.

Ben's was great, a true landmark. Sadly, Bens served it's last smoke meat sandwich a couple of years ago.

I seem to recall a fair amount of development, although I'm sure it's mushroomed since then.

I always thought Gouin Boulevard was sort of exciting, but I was fresh off the prairies.
