can you make bread with cake flour?

Plain old cake flour isn't 'hard' enough to stand up to a long, slow rise and multiple foldings required to make a decent loaf.

For your bog standard uniform texture loaf of course there's not going to be much difference.

If you can get that sort of crumb with cake flour, I salute you.
 
come on lets see cake flour hold air like this:

Wouldn't the price of a pint buy you two dozen eggs?

i don't think i was as i don't tend to drink when out clubbing, but that's immaterial anyhow cos that was taken a couple of weeks ago.
 
i'll just make normal bread from now on - not so keen on the flat breads anyway - they seem to miss the entire point of what makes bread yummy
