if you like rap you could check out assassin, NTM
on the other hand if your after authentic french music listen to la rue ketanuou.
or if your into romantic folk songs francis cabrel is pleasent.

I remember when I was twelve and watching a music show that was on M6 around mid-afternoon. They showed Mylene Farmer's current music video and there was naked women everwhere. Top of the Pops never seemed the same afterwards.

Just to add, I got Camille's "Live Au Trianon" album and it's even better. Really funny in parts too - you can tell it's really difficult to do and sometimes it starts to go wrong, but everyone's just enjoying it. 'Vous' is class - she starts singing 'Humpty Dumpty' in this ridiculous voice

Django Reinhardt, the best guitarist ever to have walked this planet. Although born in Belgium he spent his life in France and France was where his music was born.

Also, let's not forget this man

A superb violinist and Django's mate in Quintette du Hot Club de France. In fact i'll just put a pic of the whole band here.

All of them amazing musicians, if you've never heard them I strongly urge you to do so.
