Camping gear recommendations: tents, beds, accessories and upmarket luxuries

How do people make coffee? I use a GSI espresso maker. It's similar to the smallest Bialetti stove top pot. I have to use it twice to get my fix.

I'd like to try the Wildpresso - has anyone got one? This is the Wild Hybrid version which uses ground coffee or pods:

Umm yeah.

Lots to be said for a simple box of kit you can just pick up and go.

Troo dat. I can heartily recommend US army MREs, complete with chemical heater. A complete hot meal which fits in your pocket, needs no cooking equipment or a plate or anything, just a spork. And it lasts for years. If you buy by the case they're £2.50 each. (That's the best price I can find in the UK.)

If you can find them that cheap, you're doing better than me. Any chance of a link?

When weight is not an issue I take along an Aeropress. However often I put my camping kit on my bike so even the relatively small Aeropress is a bit bulky so I take one one of these:

I quite fancy one of these to go with my panniers!
