Campaign against Nastyness.

I like this idea but would have to add that we need to be nice to police persons as well. After all very few have killed muslims or anyone else.
We can't condemn all police for the actions of a few in the same way we can't say all British muslims are terrorist bombers after 4 twits killed themselves and others in London.
So nice to all please (OK maybe not that nice to Tony) or it fails before it starts.
So lets have a day when we all give something to a charity. If you don't want to make it a cash donation then give a little time.
Hold the shop door open for someone or just give a helping hand to someone in need.
Sometimes a kind smile can be soften a bad day for someone with a problem.
So no politics and nothing in it for ourselves - just be nice to someone today.
Who's up for it ?

What about a be nice to foreigners day.. A day when we all make that extra effort to make them feel at home...It would help if we all learnt some foreign language...If you dont know there lanaguage speaking in there accent might be a good idea and show that your wiling to make at least some effort.

Great when some mates hang around at mine as the food is great.
A mix of Chinese and Malay food for dinner - yum yum.

I am lucky to know the chinese that I have met. These are good people with a good attitude to life. Went to two good friend's chinese wedding a few weeks back and they and their families treated me as an honoured guest.
I had helped this couple out alittle in the past while they were in the UK and the families helped me on my two trips to Malaysia.

Well Durrutti the first step,Is send off a sizeable donation and await your membership form...There is a short test...That shouldnt take longer than 5 days.A good sturdy pair of boots will come in handy for some of this and a copy of tbaldwins223 steps to niceness is essential..
Remember we are seriously NICE people Opposed to all forms of Nastyness especially those splitters in The Workers against Nastyness.....
Whilst your waiting for your membership form i would suggest you try out some random acts of kindness... If you see a disabled person go over and emphasise with them...A short "Hello,isnt it terrible to be disabled" type introduction often works well for me...
And with people of different colours...Its good to mention "Oh dear we are different colours,but we can still be friends" worked for me....
The main thing to remember is that the Campaign against Nastyness is a fresh start...A bit like the breakaway from workers power but completely different.

It looks to me that tbaldwin has problems discerning 'nice' from 'nasty' if he wants to include Mother Teresa in his pantheon of heroes. VP also falls at the first hurdle (unless he is Italian) in making a derogatory and all too familiar stereotype of foreigners.
