Campag 9 speed rear derailleurs with bearing jockeys

I adjusted the H yesterday morning 'cos the chain was slipping when I was in the highest gear. I'm sensing a bit of cycling snobbery. I only have fancy shoes because I got everything on the cycle to work scheme, and have been using them for 4 years.

Alright, that's fine then. Still, carbon sole shoes... :D

And why not? half price and paid off interest free over the course of a year. Wouldn't you run round the shopping getting top of the range everything?

It was fucking great, I ransacked Condor. 4 years on I still use everything I bought daily.

To go back to the original question, I replaced my last (MTB) derailleur's bearings with metal KCNC sealed bearing ones a bit like in the OP's picture.

They were better, lasted longer and were easier to maintain. At the time they weren't much more expensive than cheap Shimano replacements, although now they seem to cost a lot more, so I wouldn't be so sure about buying them.
