they're great. i loved them when John Henderson was in the band and they had that male/female interplay thing going on. but their later, post-concretes stuff is fantastic too.

I have not. I have visited two Cameras Obscura. They are both in Scotland: Edinburgh and Kirriemuir.

I am listening to the band now.

although 'happy new year' off the first album is lovely too. i have a real soft spot for that song.

This thread is a disaster. I've angered most people, disappointed alot more, and only one person is kind of lukewarm about one song.

Obviously I wasn't effusive enough.

I really, really like that song, maybe even love it a little bit.

I remember thinking at the time that it might be fun to become some kind of fey indie kid. Then I realised I wouldn't be able to take myself seriously if I spent the whole time staring at my shoes.
