shame the guns are not remotely balanced though.

I'm enjoying CoD5 but tbh I haven't really liked:

The Tanks mission - I didn't buy the game to drive a tank

The Black Cats Gunner mission - All the swapping turrets nonsense pissed me off. Poor relation to the plane mission in CoD4 which had an awesome feeling of power to it. Compared to a horrid (no doubt realistic) feeling of not being able to see shit manic firing all over the shoot.

Flamethrower missions - Fed up of getting naded or gunned down whilst tring to get in flamethrower range. Or having to smoke your way through unable to see shit again.

One mission has you driving a tank.

That's it.

I really don't get the problems people have with tanks.

The plane mission in COD4 should have been awesome but the view mode made my eyes water. Really every criticism that can be made against cod5 is equally valid for 4.

One thing i will say though is the japanese missions are a bit too reptitive and a bit too tedious. I really don't enjoy having a million japs ambush me while my crappy rifle needs to reload.

Tanks in the single player missions are ok, in the online multiplayer they suck somewhat. Don't like the view you get to control them. I guess I just wish it were more like BF1942 which I just loved. Other than that, the multiplayer is fantastic, some of the levels are just great.

Is there a U75 server yet? I never did manage to get online in CoD4 on the Urban server...

The problem is that I seem to keep ending up in the tank map. Played a really nice looking Japanese map the other day, a hilltop. Great graphics.

The dogs are a nice addition.

I think the CoD people outdid themselves with 4, and this one doesn't measure up.
