I think Prince Of Thieves was the first PG I ever went to see (I was 8 when it came out).

I love that little model of the castle! It reminds me of the pisstake bit in Top Secret where they start out scratching a plan in the dirt, and then it turns into this highly elaborate detailed model.

Couple of things though, why is Costner allowed to keep his american accent but Christian Slater has a terrible almost cockney accent?

And if Channel 5 are going to cut the "fuck me" out of the "fuck me, he cleared it" bit then they should really remember to also edit the subtitles

I agree, I prefer the honest-to-god route Costner had of just speaking American, to the awful half-baked half-arsed attempt Slater came up with

aw it gotta lot of stick for how much it cost etc, that is the waterword mythos but the film itself is a fun family film

The biggest plot hole in that film is the idea that both Kevin Costner and Christian Slater are supposed to be the fruit of his loins.

Also. The End of the Postman is just about the most awesomest thing in the multiverse, "I was that boy!"

The Postman is redeemed for me by Tom Petty turning up.
