They look so different now, so I've annotated this copy with their names

Jim Lovell (Apollo 8 and 13) is missing but, at the time the picture was taken, was still alive.

It's a great photo. They've managed to capture personality on each of their faces. I wonder if it's a composite....

I'd love to meet them. Just to find out if it's true about the domes

Buzz does look great in his fancy suit and socks.

I would have liked to have talked to John Glenn. Was it John Glenn who saw what he described as fireflies dancing all around his capsule? It's in The Right Stuff. I'd have liked to have talked to him about that.

Alan Shephard, John Glenn and Scott Carpenter all saw "fireflys" on their Mercury flights. The "fireflys" were actually ice crystals but they were outside, not inside, the capsule.

I watched '8 Days to the moon and back' last night. Just amazing! Buzz's simple solution to ignition broken switch is just the sort of thing I'd come up with, except I'm not an astronaut :D

Must have been amazing to witness all that live, a time of great hope for humanity, pretty much the opposite of now :(
