Lucky to get a couple of hundred quid for it these days. The nuts for its day though.

it wassant available to public in 96, just for peep's in the GFX scene... so we can call it 97 and say..... £500?? lololol

There is alot of stuff with it i almost had a heart attack carrying the moniter / scanner / some big gadget no.1 / some big gadget no.2 etc... and the software i could never learn its beyond my brain power... errr, heh.

Truth is it does have loads of gear but havant gotta clue what its worth. coz we wanna flog it for dru.. i mean food and decorations.

400? lol

anybody got a set of CD mixers?? :o

tell u what, i'll go out of my way and work through the night listing everything.. i hate that but for u peep's, no worries. (coz we wanna know what its worth, if anything... so if its like £20 i can have it and take it apart :D )

For work and design if you need to make a move right now, opt for a G5 tower, as it's upgradeable, and will do the job she needs. As it's a business expense, go top-end, and fill it with RAM (Use Crucial UK as it's cheapest). Stick a couple of extra hard drives in and RAID them so you have automatic back-ups of the primary drive.
FYI: Future Quark 7 will run fine on Intel, though Adobe has enough on its plate this year bringing the macromedia/adobe design products together, which is it's internal priority right now.
The Intel Macs are very fast and responsive and start-up in seconds. I like the feel of them. Agree that V1 products may have some problems. I'd recommend buying one of them in March, (just before financial year ends, for tax) when problems should have been identified, but this isn't relevant to your situation. Grab a G5 tower.
