But why? You're consuming all sorts of horrible chemicals, sacrificing flavour for some illusion of healthiness whilst almost certainly getting a load of trans fatty acids that have no place in any human diet in any quantity at all.
i reckon this is a thread about butter, not margarine. I don't think unsalted margarine is possible because you need the salt to mask the chemical taste.
margarine is far worse for you than butter, if you want to be healthy use less or use olive oil or something. (the real stuff, not the spread) (which of course never comes pre-salted).
I like the taste. Used to have straight salted butter on everything, then I went through a 6 week period where I'd eat half a tablespoon of butter and two teaspoons of raw minced garlic on a roll put through the microwave, everyday for lunch without fail. Now the slightest taste of butter makes me feel very, very ill. Probably a mental thing or somat.
Edit: I wonder If have said too much here.
At any rate I have no concerns about chemicals, unlike many I would happily consume unorganicly produced fruit and veg potent pestcides and all. Doesn't bother me.
Salted for me unless it's for baking and then it's unsalted. Himself likes the Olivio now and again to make him feel more wholesome and in an attempt to moderate his fat intake.
Nuts to that! I like salted butter so much I have a packet of butter with salt crystals in it in the fridge. I buy one occasionally and I get the hump with Flashy when he gets it out to use as regular everyday butter. It's special
