This thread could have illuminated minds about the war on terror, why america hasn't been attacked, death tolls in iraq.
It could have been a wealth of information, and instead, its just a lot of very rude and ignorant people patting themselves on the back for shouting rude names at people who disagree with them politically.
Now I am all up for banter in the context of a relevent debate, name calling and insulting people is part and parcel and the fun of the internet. WITHIN a worthwhile debate, not INSTEAD of.
The worst part is, you probably sitting there smugly in front of your pc's after all your back slapping telling yourselves how you are totally controlling this argument.
When the reality is, none of you have stated anything of any value whatsoever.

There are a lot of people in the world who disagree with you on many political subjects, if you can't be bothered to debate the ideas and the informatio on a board in a forum specifically designed for people to discuss those ideas and that information....then don't post.

Your mistake is that you fail to engage your opponents on the basis of their actual agenda. This sometimes works ok (at least for certain cultures, at certain times) but eventually people figure out that you're bullshitting them and they resent it.
