What's wrong with 'soldiers'?
The U.S. Army has soldiers. The U.S. Navy has sailors. The U.S. Marine Corps has marines. They are all warriors.

P.S. If you have a problem with "God Bless America" or Kate Smith, "tell it to the Marines".

I think they're something more than warriors, as the duty of the hospital ships off the Gulf coast after Katrina shows.

I'm assuming Kate Smith is dead by now.

You and your ilk always seem to forget that some of the people who have a problem with "GBA" did - precisely because of your attitude - tell it to the Marines:

Rational people could draw the lesson that attitude adjustment may help.

Insanity the whole shambles of it all.

It's so patently transparent what's going on and yet folk still get taken in by it.

The only answer is that humans allow the lull of comfortable insanity to invade their minds. Sanity would be far too dangerous and uncertain...

ahhh, please mr leader, give me protection, save me from the evil monster that you say is coming our way, do anything you want with me, just keep the monster out.

Why should Usama send his troops all that way, mearsy? There're loads of you poor shmucks just waiting to be vaporised in Eye-rack!

MsG

Bin laden and number two dick have talked about attacking America many time since 9-11. So far nothing.

Maybe allah is not so willing

And that is exactly what occurred. The Tennessee Fauntleroy was sent packing (by a mere whisker, I'll admit), we "cowboyed up", and now many of the Yemeni AQ murderers are guests of the American people or with their "white raisins".

Murderers so they been convicted then?

WTF are white raisins?

And isn't the rest of the wolrd so pleased you voted for that idiot!

Some Muslims dispute their co-religionists who say that those who die while waging holy war are rewarded with virgins, saying that instead what the Koran promises are "white raisins".

Shit, I'd hate to blow myself up expecting virgins, and get a handful of sultanas instead.

The "rest of the world" doesn't get to vote here. Sorry. What's worse, many of them (most?) don't get much or any of a vote at home, either. And that's a shame.

It's almost time to go and watch that old warrior, George Hamilton, as he battles his way through Dancing With the Stars.
I once went to his cigar bar in Beverly Hills. Amazing place. George Hamilton is not old, merely seasoned, like rich Corinthian leather.

That's the impression of him on the show.

You can't help but like the guy, and he danced a mean matador's dance, whatever it's called.

Islamist murderers prefer to attack unsuspecting civilians rather than American warriors.

So who is wiping out thousands of warriors in Iraq? Surely they can't all be blue-on-blue?

Have you ever served, yammie? Serious question here.

By serving, I don't mean driving past a military base near you.

It really doesn't matter. Because either way the US has not been hit since 9-11. Credit must be given to the Bush administration for this. Because if another attack happens on Bush's watch you all will blame him for it.

Because Bush is NEVER right he is ALWAYS wrong.

Good little soldiers all of you.

And yet it may be circumstance rather than vigilance that has seen no attack post-11th september 2001.

You're way too willing to give credit where it hasn't been shown to be earned, but then again you would, wouldn't you? It isn't as if you're politically impartial on the issue.

The spectacle of you chickenhawks beating your gums about "American warriors" with your dicks in your hands when most of you haven't the faintest idea (nor care to acquire any firsthand experience) of what being a soldier is about is frankly nauseating.

There is one indisputible fact: The United States has not been attacked since 9-11. That is really all we can go on. Al Queda has not scored a goal on America since. When a team is not scoring, usually the other team plays a part in this.

And of course you all blame the US for 9-11 anyway, so you would blame bush if another attack happens on his watch. Always blame Bush. So when another attack has not happened you must give the guy credit.

You're just painting by numbers here, mears.

I speak your weight. Insert coin. :D

Here mears makes the same mistake as the CIA and other assorted spooks whose recommendations I've been reading.

They're convinced that both sides are playing the same game (and that it's "football").

The whole point of unconventional warfare is to play a different game to your opponent. Preferably one they've not heard of.

* Visualises the Superbowl with one team on the field, while mad mullahs play go or kabaddi, or both, elsewhere *

I wasn't disputing the substantive fact that America has not been attacked post 9.11, I was disputing your demand that the Bush administration should be given credit for it.

Blah blah blah, except just who only blames the US.

Not too many people as it happens.

It's actually you who is obsessed by America, isn't it? It's you who is locked into an "all America, all the time" loop.
