You never know what is also being suported at an STWC demo these days it could be a whole manner of nasty orgs on the grounds that 'my enemies enemy is my friend'.

The same can surely be said of any demo covering a popular issue?

An obvious example being the Antideutsch people at anti-fascist events.

I don't want to be associated with Hamas, Hizbollah, Iran or any number of authoritarian nutters that the swp seems to enjoy associating themselves with.

Not to mention the PLP

The SWP do not represent anyone other than themselves and certainly don't represent socialism.

Its not just the protest against Bush something I commend but the STWC and similar / swp fronts have managed to lose so much support such as condoning Hizbollah, sitting down with outright racists in Cairo etc etc. You never know what is also being suported at an STWC demo these days it could be a whole manner of nasty orgs on the grounds that 'my enemies enemy is my friend'.

In all seriousness most of what the SWP does for political activity for quite some period of time isnt worth the general effort. So yes its easy to slag them off, but dont assume that those doing that sit on the arse and carry on like keyboard warriors. Theres a huge disorientation process thats been going on for sometime due to a number of factors (rise of the bnp, failure of the STWC) and on numerous levels the SWP have fed into this.
