a shame for united, but that's how it goes. they didn't play with the style (yes, style) that has made them succesful during the season proper. they should definitely have had at least one penalty, but feck all chance of that off Dean. Even if they'd have got it, Burnley outplayed them and deserved the win. Turf Moor should be quite an intimidating ground for a fair few teams, should be a good season for them next year, and they might just hang on.

I only caught the second half once we finally got to the pub

I therefore missed the Burnley goal but the replay made it look a cracker.

LOVED the reaction of the Burnley fans and players at the end -- this is absolutely huge fior them, I always love the underdog!

I used to sort of support Wednesday many many years ago, and therefore am not having too much sympathy for United ....

SU did not play at all well anyway. In fairness though, one of their shouts for a penalty in the second half looked justified.

Nah, the issue is that they took a pretty minor offence and used it to blame us for everything from their relegation to being responsible for the late gas bill payments of everyone in Sheffield.
