Britannic Garden Furniture (based in Uk West Country) has said: "As for Aung San Suu Kyi, admitted her party had won the election on a very small turnout. We note that she seems to be very comfortable and well looked after in her bungalow and seems easily to communicate with the outside world. Burma's human rights, admitted, are not very good and probably fifty percent of the rest of the world are not either."
Dear Sir/Madam,
I recently bought from you some wonderful dining furniture which I used recently to entertain some friends. However, whilst carving the meat I cut myself with a knife and stained the wood with a small amount of blood. I've tried numerous ways of getting it out but to no avail.
I then remembered that you buy some of your wood from Burma and therefore thought that since you have a good deal of experience in washing blood off your hands, you might also know how to get it out of your wood?
Kind Regards

Burma Campaign have an e-mail thingy similar to the Lonely Planet one:Yu_Gi_Oh said:Why no protests outside Totals headquarters, they might as well be the junta.
I am sooooo tempted to walk down to my local total garage and let everyone know what they're funding, but I've been persuaded that it's a bad idea.May yet do it though.

BRITANNIC WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE PEOPLE AND FRIENDS OF MYANMAR.
WE DO NOT THE SUPPORT THE MILITARY REGIME
Please read the facts and not the hype
How many workers have you fed in Myanmar
P.S.
Blood on my hands i wash with soap and water!
Im a member of Amnesty International, I try to do my bit. It's hard to throw your money at every 'cause'.
Anyhow, I did look for information on your website but you don't have any. Maybe if you are so keen to set the facts straight you should have something on there about how you are 'feeding Burmese people and not putting money in the hands of a barbaric military junta.'
Just a thought
Kind Regards.

Thanks though.

Andrew Brock Travel is a tour operator that organises tours to Burma. Aung San Suu Kyi and the Burmese democracy movement have asked tourists not to visit Burma because it helps fund the regime and gives it legitimacy. Forced and child labour was used to develop many tourist facilities. Owner Andrew Brock has said that Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi is ‘oppressing Burma’s people’.

I read your e mail but I must say I fully support the military junta in
Myanmar as it is the only way to suppress and keeporder in such a backward
society in a shit hole such as Myanmar.

I don't really know if it is for real or anything.
just to add - I am genuinely surprised by all the messages of support for the Military Government in Burma.
