Unfortunately, there are incompatibilities between this approach to design and the way that councils & builders normally do things.
Presumably that's where an architect comes in? Assuming you can find one who buys in to that way of thinking.
 
walter segal style wooden framed housing is cheaper and funkyer than conventional style
hosing thers two self build communitys in brighton helped build hedgehog my community self build died a death.
not sure if I've still got the selfbuild book about be a shame to settle for something like everything else for the same cost you could have something individual :D

Ones you really want to pay attention to are B (fire safety) K (Protection from falling. Stairs) and L (energy conservation).

time to fire up autocad, I found out off the planning officer that I need PP for the front of the house ( overlooking fields) but don't for the rear ( overlooks loads of people

fucking idjeets.
