Yeah, her skills are limited to being such a good fighter that she defeated every opponent, no matter how strong or clever or numbered in their thousands, and being pretty intelligent (definitely witty), and dedicated, and a very good friend and sister. It's not much, I'll give you.
Like Xena as much as you want, but she would lose to Buffy in a fight. Then they'd probably have great make-up sex where they took it in turns to dominate each other. I bet there are about a million fanfics with that very plot.

An award nominated episode of Buffy that was almost entirely silent. No dialogue. Gave me the shivers for ages. These varian vampires steal your voice and then kill you (heart cut out iirc). It's like those nightmares when you try to scream and nothing comes out

Yeah, yeah, fanboy. so what's the story with her and angel...i never fucking got that. Basically, Buffy just annoyed the crap out of me cos she was just...i dont know, there was never a handle there for me to emphasize and be swept away by her...maybe it was just the lacking in charisma thing. Or skill. Or both. She just always seemed a bit lame. Off in her own world fighting things that no one knew why or even cared for.

Slayer falls in love with vampire who has been cursed with a human soul so it feels guilt. She shags said vampire, vampire loses soul, goes apeshit killing everyone, Slayer kills vampire and send it to hell.
Vampire returns from hell with newly minted soul, and it all gets a bit complicated, so Vamp fucks off to LA for his own series.

Yeah, i saw the spike episode...that annoyed me too...one minute im watching and they're sworn enemies...albeit some pretty strong sexual energy seeping through the battles and hate n whatever, next minute, Spike is somekind of gimp running around after her! That just totally bites!

There were about fifty Spike episodes. His character developed brilliantly well - it was totally believable that
he'd team up with Buffy rather than let Angel destroy the world, both because he wasn't that evil (for a vampire - he still killed lots of people) and because he was quite sensible in some ways: kill all the people and you kill all his sources of food.

Also those vampire stalker tac team bastards who are in college. Fucking shit that was. AND the big bad monster/scientist person was blates a rip off of resident evil.

Anyway - if someone doesn't like Buffy, then they are clearly delusional but to be pitied. However, if someone actually thinks that Charmed is better than Buffy then their opinion on anything is not to be trusted.

I liked bits of it. I just had my problems with it as well.
I liked the hot blonde evil girl who was trying to kill dawn(and i liked dawn) faith was cool, xander made me laugh from time to time. There were lots of good bits but the bad bits were really bad.
Whenever darla turned up was a good thing and whatever the other blood relative of angel was.
Oh oz turning into a warewolf was fucking shite and all. Like really shit.
