I hate to gloat but know an avid Everton supporter (I like Liverpool) who spent most of last season laughing at me because Liverpool were not going to make the competition.... Then Liverpool won the CL and were allowed back in so he spent ages telling me how Everton were there on merit and Liverpool were there for sympathy! During this time he referred to the mighty reds simply as 'red scum'
