BSG season 3 *with spoilers*

If they really want to bring him down they should bring up the murder of a certain Lt Crashdown on Kobol.

That's a really good point, why hasn't that been brought up again now that everyone knows Baltar is a traitor?

Probably because those involved (Tyrol, Cally, and Seelix iirc) would then have to explain why they all helped cover it up. Still all three of them were in the resistance, they surely fall into the rabidly anti-Baltar camp.

That's who it was, I knew I recognized him from somewhere.

Was a good episode, liking the whole set-up of Apollo taking on his dad. He's a still a dull-as-dishwater character, but at least this whole arc is making him vagueally watchable now.

Even though Katte Sackoff's name is off the credits, I'd still bet my log cabin she'll be back before the end of the season. ;)

even tho i think she is one of the final 5 i dont think she'll be back for a while as she wanted time to sort her career out in ' straight to tv / dvd ' movies oh and theres a huge rumour in bsg geeky land that at the end of the season .................................................

pm me for more , wont spoilt it for you others :)

Some interesting Katee Sackhoff news from scifi.com (CONTAINS BSG SPOILERS)...

Sackhoff Guests On Bionic Woman

Katee Sackhoff, who plays Starbuck in SCI FI Channel's original series Battlestar Galactica, will guest-star in The Bionic Woman, the SF NBC pilot from Battlestar executive producer David Eick, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Sackhoff will appear in the pilot for the series, a reimagining of the 1970s show, which again centers on Jamie Sommers (Michelle Ryan), a woman who is turned into a walking technological miracle after a car crash.

Sackhoff will play Sarah, an evil bionic woman and nemesis to Sommers. The casting comes on the heels of the recent apparent demise of Starbuck on Battlestar.

well I've been avoiding this thread because I was on a BSG break. but I just watched 'dirty hands' and it was quality. Some very interesting class politics. Cracking stuff

I really hope for the good of the series that that Irish guy is on for good. He just out acted the entire cast.

Oh my word , a wikkid season finale , first bit a bit predictable but the ending  a bit of a shocker in the final 5 i can tell thee and then

That was absolutely incredible. Best TV i've seen since, oh, Exodus part II!

Edit: Although I feel rather a prune for not recognising the song until the very end!

It's a damn good interview – I was interested in what he had to say about Caprica (I hope it still happens) and the TV movie featuring Admiral Cain and Battlestar Pegasus.

I also definitely get the impression that season four might be the last one. Although I love the show, I think it would make a lot of sense...

im a lil bit baffled , ( im not trying to give too much away as i know some will get this in thier email and really dont wanna spoile it ) , but ok in the cargo hold bit there were 4 , which leaves 1 , now is the 1 the person who turns up at the end one or is there another? either way , where they are going looks like its gonna be fooked

i must admit the 4 were a complete shock , i hoped ( for plot development ) that one of them would be but didnt think the writers would actually do it ;)

eta didnt

yeah im not sure if the one at the end is and i reckon its either .............. or ............ , wondering if we're thinking of the same 2

Cracking last episode, wasn't expecting the big reveal of 4 of the final 5 at all.

So, 'All Along The Watchtower' is a trigger song for the final 5 then, so does that mean the Cylons originated from Earth if they're using a song from our pop culture?

And surely the 5th Cylon is who it seems to be, or how else can you explain the ending?

Gods damn it, I love this show!

Very interesting ending. I reckon that the most senior civilian and military of the revealed 4 will have their loyalty see them through, and will turn out like Athena. The mechanically minded one perhaps a bit less so, and as for the former sporting hero - did anyone notice how he was having to force himself to move when leaving the room?

HOWHOWHOWHOWHOW!

The chief has a kid! I thought they'd given up on male cylons reproducing! How can they do this to me, the chief was my favourite! Nooooo!

Nooooo!

But they're not like the other Cylons we've seen so far though.

My guess is that the final 5 are somehow more closely related to humans on Earth than those that were on Caprica...

I reckon:

Starbuck might be the fifth seeing as how she was apparently resurrected. On the other hand, she might be another one of these hallucinatory characters, and only Lee can see her.

I liked the new connections that were forming between the characters by the end of that episode. Aside from the obvious new grouping, there also seems to be a connection forming between Roslin, Sharon and Six. The writers seem intent on shaking up the dynamic.

i thought that .......... could be the fifth but with a viper and all ????
your second idea would make more sense

This is what I reckon / my prediction for series 4:

Starbuck isn't the last of the Five - Leoben is. ;) Starbuck was merely "kidnapped". Leoben has had a thing for her and her "destiny" forever, right from the start. The Five are "good cylons" who have some plan to unite humanity and Cylonity, although how the fuck they know anything about the Thirteenth Tribe and Bob Dylan music when the Thirteenth fucked off to Earth long long before the Cylons were even invented, is anyone's guess. The four of the Five just revealed to us are Five sleeper agents on the Galactica - Leoben is the sleeper agent amongst the bad Seven.

Weird thing is, if the Chief is a Five Cylon, that means we have another hybrid baby.
