 , they sell them in forbidden planet in croydon , just down the road from where i work ;)
Um, they can't do. These are new series ones, the photos from some toy fair were posted two days ago and one of them has a big sign in front of it saying "Pending Licensor Approval"...

SG

Re:The Toys
The toys that Ruffneck's are referring to, are from the Original T.V Series, such as the (Mk.2) Viper & (original) Cylon Raider.....

Loved the last episode, with it's class politics. Anyone else notice that one of the writers was one of the people involved with Firefly? I think it showed.

Baltar's accent was great, but if Aerelon really is Yorkshire I don't think he'd have lasted long with a poncy name like 'Gaius'. :D

Was a lot better than the tedious marriage guidance session from the week before ... nothing like a bit of hard vacuum to keep your marriage on track, eh ;)

does look like they're building on the racism theme, giving the different colonies more character, and yes, liked the class politics. our household is already frightened stiff of Roslin, when she smiles I want to hide behind the sofa.

When I have to tell someone off at work I usually 'pretend' to be someone else as I hate doing it - for years I've been channeling Maddalane (sp?) from the TV series La Femme Nikita, but Roslin is becoming my new alter ego

Right, this is the spoiler thread. So, was Adama right to be absolutely brutal with the Chief to get the strike called off? I thought the writers were essentially saying it's a time of war, union activism should not be tolerated, but they're humane so the president will later make offers.

Obviously some unions have been corrupt and bending to strikes can be dangerous, but still I was livid when Adama threatened to have his wife shot! Just wished it'd turned into a giant story arc on class warfare, whereas I suspect we won't hear much more about union issues for a while. The ending felt way too neat and pat.

I think with this episode and the one about Sagittarons the other week the show's building towards some sort of big social schism. That's what happens when the Cylons aren't around for everyone to unite against I suppose.

indeed , so no more......

i dont think so......

you know what this prog is like

however i now officially *heart* heroes over this :)

Probably one of the final five, so something a bit different/more than a cylon.

Apparently that bit right at the end where Adama smashes up his model ship was improvised on the spur of the moment by Edward Olmos. The props department were horrified, because that particular prop was rented and it was worth tens of thousands of dollars! :D

lol :D

excellent though

well i couldnt sleep got ep 18 at 4.30 this am , was pretty good , lining things up nicely for baltars trial :)

oh and Katee Sackhoff's name is no longer in the credits :(

Liked the latest episode, it's good to see Badger off Firefly doing something new. Plus the president's aide got a few lines for once, and she's lovely.

That's who it was, I knew I recognized him from somewhere.

Was a good episode, liking the whole set-up of Apollo taking on his dad. He's a still a dull-as-dishwater character, but at least this whole arc is making him vagueally watchable now.

Even though Katte Sackoff's name is off the credits, I'd still bet my log cabin she'll be back before the end of the season. ;)

She has to be. I can't believe they'd go through such a massively long-winded song and dance about her having a destiny to fulfil, only to have her disappear pointlessly.

Yay for sinister snoggable British actors in American sci-fi. :p

Did anyone else clock the Iraq parallel with the lawyer getting assassinated -- making Balthar a cypher for Saddam?! Not the first time that Iraq has been alluded to this season either.

What's the betting that he ends up being executed in private but footage leaks out to the fleet? I wonder...

Nah, he'll be found innocent. Because he is. He wasn't complicit in the attack on the colonies, he was just a patsy. On New Caprica it was the Cylons pulling the strings, he only acted under duress. If they really want to bring him down they should bring up the murder of a certain Lt Crashdown on Kobol.
