I like the upbeat stuff, the soppy stuff makes me feel ill, reminds me of terrible teenage romances. Don't listen to any of it anymore though. He was always a pale wispy shadow of Bowie to be fair.

as for this thread - i had no idea about Bryan Ferry being a total nob - and not for the first time, I'm glad i don't bother read music press, and i remain oh so ignorant about oh so much when it comes to music.....this way, i enjoy it for the sake of it. :)
 
Eno-era Roxy Music are one of my all-time favourite bands and Ferry is one of my all-time favourite singers. A pity he spawned a cunt like that son of his though, eh?

Otis Ferry is an absolute little shit and looks like Rodney out of Only Fools and Horses. Deliciously ironic that he inherited the only aspect of his father's looks that were ropey -- eyes too close together.

Yes! Yes! YES! I love all of those & Roxy Music. His solo album 'Let's Stick Together' is one of my all-time favourites. If you haven't got it buy it NOW so you can hear 'Casanova' :)

I have no view either way as to his cuntishness or lack of. Though I never found the guy remotely fanciable. But hey, politics & fancying shouldn't really come into music.
