That's not sad at all. I have loads of Bottom on video, or at least I would have if my ex would give them back :(

* 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, chopped
* 1 bunch radishes, sliced
* 1 head fresh anise
* 1 or 2 carrots, grated

right...just about to sit down to a late tea of Smash, peas, sprouts, 2 cauldron lincolnshire veggie sausages, some of Aunt Bessie's finest, a pint of gravy and a bottle of Bateman's XXXB

it don't get much better than that :)

Brussels are just gorgeous and then of course there is the blessed bubble and squeak to follow if you have any left over !

Brussel Sprout 'Tozer Selection' (red)

Here is an old fashioned alternative that has a distinct nutty flavour better than any other. Serve raw in salad or boil it like any other variety. Bright crimson red Winter sprouts! Either raise in seed trays or open ground.

Sow March to April thinly in rows 6" apart. Sow in ½" deep drills.
When plants are 6" high set out 2½ ft apart.
