Bruges, Berlin and Vienna

Actually I just went out for a drink but the waitress said, ''are you here for the applewiine?'' so I had some. I don't like wine and I don't like cider- it was never going to be a winner...

A pic of a windmill at Dammes near Bruges

And Frankfurt at night:

Salzburg was also lovely if very touristy. It seemed busy after Bruges. More cars, less bikes. The main part is up against a cliff face. You can get an elevator from the Museum der Moderne to the top: return or one way if you're thinking of topping yourself (or making your own way down with your feet). There is quite a lot of little-visited woodland at the top and a few houses. Very quiet and restful -except when you walk along a path to the edge of the cliff and find yourself looking down on the cab of a crane... Very picturesque, great views. I went to my only museum of the trip: the museum of children's toys, musical instruments, cameras, model trains and Struwwelpeter or something. It was okay.

I'm back! We had a greeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaT time!

Bit of a disappointment that almost everything was closed on Sunday but I reckon I've drunk my weight in beer and also eaten my weight in chocolate :D

What is the deal with the thousands of bikes parked at Bruges station....it was shit loads...i'll upload some pics later ....if I can get it to work :o

They cycle a lot.

Part of what I loved about it. Cycles outnumbered cars 3 to 1 or something mad.

Helps being flat.
