Believe it or not L&L I once thought as you do now, especially about Welfare!
I just hope you are lucky enough to stay well and fit and never need anyone else's assistance in life. You will be truly fortunate if that is so.
One car crash aged 45 changed my life completely. I depend on welfare to exist and while I agree that some, just as in business, will bend or break rules ( See New Labour donations) most are genuine folk in need.
I feel you have no idea how these changes not only affect the rule breakers but the truly ill as well. I am worried that some am
oeba just out of uni will click a mouse somewhere and stop my benefits as easily as that chap who took 25 million records! When benefit is your only income and you get lost in the ether that is burocracy it can take weeks to get back what you have lost and with no savings one is in instant do-do.
So, while benefit saving may mean a tax cut for you and your ilk, to many others it is a genuine fear of government incompetence ( see New Labour ) which will cause genuine fear.
You come across as someone who doesn't care about the less fortunate than you and for that I feel truly sorry for you.
