Another pathetic comment. I attack middle class lefties hypocrisy that doesnt make me an inverted snob,it makes me laugh.

Hardly but then you aren't the sharpest tool in the box - are you? You are an inverted snob who has a deep-seated psychological problem with further and higher education; this is evidenced by your constant attacks on education and those who teach or have taught others. Maybe you have a problem with teachers generally. Get a tough time for constantly pissing around at the back of class, did you?

What's the matter? Were you rejected by a few universities? Or perhaps, like the Futurists (who advocated the destruction of galleries) you would like to see the destruction of universities; with all intellectuals rounded up and shot - Pol Pot style.

You are Pol Pot and I claim my fiver.

No reply? No surprise there, Mr Pot. :D

Got you banged to rights on this one.

Excellent stuff nino...What an inspiration you are on these boards.

You really are a radical freethinker aernt you?

You're not doing very well here, baldy. Your lack of education is letting you down. :D

Great syntax, wtf does it mean?

I attack middle class lefties hypocrisy

You attack anyone who claims to have worked in education or those who have been to university. That makes you an inverted snob...or is it the case that you lack the intelligence to work that one out? :D

You really do talk shit.........I attack anyone who has been to university........
Or anyone whos worked in education............

Crikey you really are incredibly stupid.

There are loads of people on urban who show themselves up to be ultra conformist and stuck up.... but you really are in a class of your own...

I attack educational privellege and those who want to maintain it for their views....I know plenty of people with degrees and a few that teach....Funnily enough i havent punched any of them for weeks and weeks.....
You hopeless cretin..

Stop! You're making yourself look like a complete tit (not difficult in your case, admittedly). :D

For you the phrase "educational privilege" comes with a great deal of psychological baggage and it betrays the real 'thrust' of your spurious argument.

I must be really rattling you

Crikey you really are incredibly stupid.

and

You hopeless cretin..

Sums up what I've been saying about you all along. You have no reply other than to call me a "cretin". You can't even refute what I've said nor can you substantiate your argument beyond the vague and woolly notion that those who go to university are privileged.

Au contraire, it is you who is the cretin.

If your not even honest or intelligent enough to admit that Higher education is a privellege your even more of a cretin than i thought....If thats possible?

If you're (please take note of the correct spelling of the elided form of 'you are' here) not honest enough to admit that your problem with higher education is predicated on a form of inverted snobbery, then it is you who is not only a cretin but you are willfully ignorant as well.

I'm so glad I'm not as close-minded or dogmatic as you.

You're no socialist, you're a joke.

nino...you really are one of the most narrow minded bigots on here...You really dont have anything of interest to say...On anything.....Your views are conformist in the extreme...

And your idea of Socialism is not funny...
Its just plain nonsense.

I'm "one of the most narrow minded bigots"? Don't make me laugh! :D You're projecting (I know you don't understand that, given your patent lack of education) again.

Like I said, you're no socialist, you're a joke and wouldn't be at all surprised if you were really a Tory.

Shouldn't Brown be impeached ? After all it was him that allocated special funds for the illegal assault on Iraq by the British army, wasn't it ?

Who's Cameron ?

Brown is said to be very keen on the war on terror ..

A war that by its very definition cannot be won ..

At least not starting from a multicultural Great Britain point of view ..

Unless we bring the troops home and keep them here in barracks ..

Who's Cameron ?

Cameron is the Tory's Blair-lite: he's Eton and Oxbridge educated.

Thats a great sentence nino?

Which one? There are three sentences there....and why the question mark?

You weren't paying attention when the teacher gave instructions on the use of punctuation marks - were you? :D

Let's give the Tories a go - it'll give Labour the chance to have a "look at itself in the mirror".

Does the choice of party matter anymore?

If the tories get back in it will be another raft of union bashing (possibly leading to outlawing of trade unions) larger scale privatisation of public services and lowering of incomes for the least well off. The first thing they are likely to do in power is abolish the minimum wage.

Mind you I don't have any faith in Brown not carrying out all of what i have said above.

I never vote, but it is clear to me that the Tories are to the Left of NuLabor.

I dont think thats the case at all. New Labour have achieved more than any other government...Things like the Rise in Pensions,A Massive increase in spending on health and education. The minimum wage etc have all been really positive for the UK.
The Tories were a disaster for Britain.

By 'The Tories' do you mean the 1979-1997 Thatcher/Major Govt?

Yes that was clearly bad in most respects. And it does worry me that some people in the Tory party are still in awe of the 'Maggon'.

But what about say the '51-'64 Tory govt? Was that a disaster? Whilst the Clem Attlee govt may have given birth to the modern NHS and education systems, they grew and became established under Tory rule.

It's not as simple as 'Labour good, Tory bad'....

The Tories didn't get Britain involved in two disastrous wars that have cost nearly a million lives. Anyone who votes Labour after that has blood on their hands.

Erm Phil, haven't you got "rational proof of gods existence" to finish off ? I read that whole thread, I would not have bothered if I knew you were giving up before the deadline. So come on - on with it !

The Tories supported both and would have done the same thing. The real difference is back home where Labour have poured money into public services.
Despite all the hype they are still the party of tax and spend fighting the party of tax cuts for the rich.
