Broken Family Band - split up!

awwww pieface called me pet :o :D

I'm going to be in the area about 6:30 hopefully, depending on work and tubes and that.

They started pretty badly but finished mightily imo.

The crowd were a bit fucking staid though. The What's Cookin gigs I saw will always be the best ones they ever did I reckon.

God Bless you Broken boys and I'll buy one of your t-shirts next week via my boyfriend xxx

I wish we'd seen the end - I just couldn't stand up for any longer and left a bit early. I really liked the start, thought the middle was so-so. The crowd were a bit quiet really weren't they - strange? Anyway, it was a bit sad - so maybe that was why?

The Editors were immense :)

were they? i hope they p[lay quietly, they're in the main room n Sheffield O2 tonight, whilst BFB are on in the little one. They'll be bloody drowned out if they're not careful.

What was the support chap like? Worth a listen, or should we stay in the pub?

great show last night, possibly the best I've seen them. All seemed to really enjoy themselves and have a good laugh with the audience, and regretted never having played Sheffield before. Cracking stuff.

I have loved the BFB and sad to see them go , does anyone know what the plans are for the future ? I cannot believe such a talented songwriter will call it a day . I only manged to see them 4 or 5 times and always at festies so I`m guessing I didn`t see the best of them . Tonight really is the last one isnt it ? apart from the Cambridge gig

Last time I spoke to Steve he was going to revive the Singing Adams and roll it out in the new year sometime.

And here they are:

We're very happy to announce that our first album, Everybody Friends Now (out on April 4th) is available to pre-order RIGHT NOW from those nice people at Records Records Records records. If you pre-order you get a bundle of free download tracks (or new single and two exclusive recordings) and a warm glow. The album artwork and package was designed by our friend Ashod Simonian and it's a lovely thing to behold.

UNCUT magazine has just described Everybody Friends Now as a "terrific debut" and slapped four stars on it.

Our new single Bird On The Wing is out at the end of March. Here's the video we made for it.
