Thanks Annie, I might watch it, I mean I'd like to but I'm not sure I've fully recovered from the first viewing (I only saw it last Dec but it still seems like yesterday for some reason). It really moved me, to tears in fact. I was in a pretty bad place emotionally at the time which had a lot to do with my reaction but regardless of that I thought it was an amazing film.

It was pretty good. I felt slightly dissapointed by something at the time, but can't remember what now.

I only recently twigged that michelle williams, previously of dawsons creek fame is in it and for making the DC connection.

I've only seen it once but my impression was what a marvellously skilled piece of writing by Diana Ossana and Larry McMurtry. Not only seemingly flawless but really politically astute.
Exempting the sexuality, the dominant storyline seemed pretty familiar 'forbidden love' ground but i'd see it again for the writing, and the scenery.
