Broadsword Calling Danny boy! To the battle stations londoners

Streathamite

ideological dogmatist
RED ALERT!!!!
My cockney comrades in this, the greatest city on earth!
we are in grave danger!!!
It has come to my attention via This thread that our sheepshagging cousins are planning to declare war on us a la the recent cymru-brizzle punchup, and those treacherous feckin' ploughboys next door to them are planning to betray This Great Nation and it's premier jewel of a city and join in on their side!
So we have to marshall ALL London posters to repel this with a burst of frenzied posting and threading activity. COME ON! There's eight million of us!!!
the only thing they've got 8 million of is VD germs.

natch, being a bunch of dozy inbred halfwits, they couldn't keep this secret.
their plan has been rumbled, and England expects every Londoner to rush to their barricades and battle stations.
we shall fight them in the style bars, in the pie 'n' mash shops, on the dancefloors, we shall never surrender! prepare for battle against the yokels and the throwbacks....

p.s. someone watch that there derian. she's got split loyalties;)

these 'here be dragons' types can be tricky, gotta prepare for it. EVERYONE needs to prepare a huge list of threads to discuss.
here to stimulate your braincells (another area in which you have an inbuilt advantage over people permanently soused in cider or choking on coaldust) is the list they have prepared for their little land of hovels.

- Is Bristol divided West/East on racial lines?
- Organic vs non -organic carrots
- Should the toll on the Clifton bridge be scrapped?
- SHould the EU have the power to make carrots straight?
- Cowshit - part of the West country or a blight on our land?
- North Devon vs South Devon coast?
- Cornwall- how many locals are left?
- Who's the funniest WC comedian ( Jethro )
- Tell us your funniest carrot joke
- The Wurzels - stereotypes that have haunted us for year?
- Carrots in pasties - traditional or not traditional?
- Which accent in the WC is funniest?
- WC ley lines
- Glastonbury - birthplace of English Christianity or den of Wicca?
- Did Jesus really visit the WC ?
- Pirates Welsh vs WC ( hint. we win )
- Freedom for Street!
- Have you ever seen royalty surfing in Bude?
- Pubs in Bristol - best and worse.
- How come everyone in Bristol is fucking tall and looks like a royal ( Clifton only ).
- Nicest vista in WC
- Is LAnds End really the Southernest point in the UK
- King Arthur WC or Welsh?
- Bristol music - where did it go?
- Travellers in Bristol - still got lots of them?
- City vs Rovers?
i'm sure we can bastardise these neatly for our own ends

You know what? I know I post on an internet message board, and yes, I read fantasy books.. but I just don't think I'm geeky enough for this thread :( Good luck.

I feel like Robert E Lee at the start of the American Civil War, torn between both sides :D
Then don't make the same mistake he did - pick the economically and numerically advantaged winner!:D

yes, but you can redeem yourself simply by posting in this forum.
I can forgive the infant Filter, he is young and knows no better.

No idea what Jezza's on about anyway ...

i think it's a reference to the 'battle' the welsh and south west forums had about post counts in their respective forums. which was funny for about 4 minutes.

yeah but it got more people posting more on the Wales forum, brought us a bit closer together and encouraged lurkers out to post threads n stuff. all a bit of fun with no ulterior motive, which seems to have mostly worked. :)

What ddraig said. :D

You cockerknees don't half panic. We're still 5k and 3k behind you. When the real war comes it'll sneak up on you out the blue in true celtic fashion
