Broadband without Landline options

talktalk isn't bad at moment, 16.50 for the landline, nothing for the broadband for a year, + you can get an unlimited everything sim for £12 a month as well... i was changing phone anyway so cool. i thought all landlines were around £16 now.

Some of the broadband + landline deals work out about the same price as virgin's broadband only package tbf. Virgin will most likely pitch you some discount for the first three months or so to cover up for this fact.

yeh, virgin ended up about £25 pretty quickly.... was good and fast though. talk talk is cheaper but you notice the difference in speed. dunno about relish i haven't tried, think it works on 4G?

im with talk talk for years (going back to tisacli and homechoice even!) - i pay iirc £30 a month or so about £16 for line and £14 for net, with tv thrown in free (pause rewind etc!) - but i dont watch tv and dont use the line...£25 isnt much of a saving tbh...

Not sure of your situation but I have BT basic service costs about £15 for three months (line rental I'm on pension credit) I never use the phone line other than for internet so the cost is minimal,I use a reseller for internet (£33 a month) it's unlimited and fast so I don't mind paying and not having to deal with BT,Virgin et al is worth a lot.

last time i had a BT landline it would ring endlessly with wankers trying to sell you shit. unplugged it. just use my mobile phone now. Get 50 - 60 mb download which is way faster than any landline i have had in the past. plus i can take it anywhere with me. Hope Three do not can that for me as some people on Three have had 'the letter' which says they have to move off the plan.

I bought a 4g mobile wifi thing from ee today, on a 1 month rolling contract, as I'm not sure how long I'll be living at my current address. 25gb for £30/month

It's... Ok. Only getting about 6mbps, even when I can get 4g signal. But was all very easy to set up etc

That price is not bad, just over a quid for a MB. Speed is a bit shocking though, are you on 4G fringe coverage?
