Broad beans?

I *heart" broad beans cooked (but not overcooked, or they are foul) and in (home made) parsley sauce.

I also *heart" them in salads, but that is quite common these days, it seems, whereas hardly anyone ever seems to give me broad beans in parsley sauce!
Heh, I dunno if that was a very clever intentional pun, but broad beans are called "foul mesdames" in some places. Nice one ;)

The older they are, the longer you need to cook them. I always peel of the tough outer skin, as well.

I might have some tonight, with pasta, cherry tomatoes, goat's cheese and basil. Yum!

nope... foul medammas (which means crushed beans in Arabic) is made up of Fava (brown) beans.

I've just bought some fresh broad beans.

Any more recipies? would they go well in a curry?

A bit of a waste of their fresh, lovely taste, I'd say. They're good in a risotto, in a salad or with pasta. Broad beans, cherry tomatoes and goats cheese/feta is a particularly lovely combination.

Yay! Broad bean thread!
Haven't got any new recipes I'm afraid, but feel I should report that the broad means failed to help with the wart.

Thanks, I shall put them in a salad.
