Britain under a "Tory" government.

Do you really think that once in power they would even attempt to dismantle the NHS? I cannot imagine for a minute the british population taking this, and it would be one of those rare times when the british rise up against the powers of the day. The tories know this, and could not possibly be so stupid, surely?

they already did it last time!! It was they who first introduced lunatic PFI schemes etc

I'm encouraged by Cameron's response to the viler members of his party like Hannan or the twats who were moaning about expenses, and I find his attempts to change the composition of the Conservative parliamentary rank and file commendable. How much this signifies about his policy ambitions should he get in, is up for debate I suppose.

but only because he doesn't want the voters to know what his lot really believe in

Like removing the 10% tax band...:(

I fail to understand why the GB government did this, and think they deserve a fair amount of the crap that was thrown at them.

But it's worth remembering that the tories opposed its introduction and said it was 'a gimmick' and didn't make a fuss until some labour back-benchers did, and saw this was getting public support.

then all of a sudden they decided they liked it and tried to pretend they are the friends of the low paid.

having also been the ones that opposed the minimum wage, and not yet stated what a future tory government would do with it - abolish it, allow 'opt outs' or allow inflation to wither it, or what...

I dont really think the tories would be much different to New Labour. After all Cameron has been created in Blairs image.

A few things though I think Cameron might do.

Give employees the right not to be under a collective agreement at work; introduce bans on industrial action in essential services; encourage legislation to strengthen individual workplace contracts; in other words anything to fuck up Trade Unions ability to organise.

I think the Tories will do this as the Trade Unions will be the major threat,I mean, the only threat to the government. Otherwise Cameron will just carry on the same neo liberal shit that Blair/Brown have given us over the last 12 years.
