Britain is a toilet

I don't really get the 'citizenship tests=racist' thing though. They're one of the few half-decent ideas that this government has introduced. Most other countries expect new citizens to sign up to some kind of values when they get a passport.

Having to pledge allegiance to the Queen? :eek:How many resident folk would do that? Not allowed in if you're a republican??

Political corruption?
Untouchable politicians?
Significant right wing support?
High unemployment?
Extortionate taxes?

Ah, that'll be France then. Enjoy!

BOOOM and we're back in the room!
The most expensive, poorly serviced, snobby, lazy, non contributary Postal service in the world too!

Item shipped from Japan.
Paid 17th June
In Britain 18th June
Coventry Customs processing 30th June
Customs Charging 1st July

1 day to fly halfway around the world 2 weeks to process customs so I rang them up.
Got told off because they are extremely busy
Spot on customer service and that is why DHL, UPS etc will be handling mail in this country within a decade.
Competition aint just about driving down wages it is about the quality of service offered.
Britain seems to have forgotten this on so many levels.....

Do DHL and UPS get to skip customs checks?

No but they pre pay and then bill you.
Items from Japan can arrive in 2 days......as they have for me twice.
Plus they're nice to you on the phone when you ring up........

So it's not the postal service at fault, so much as customs, then.

What an utter cunt Keyboard Jockey was. Wonder what that tory piece of shit is up to these days?

He still posts at Harry's Place, trying to out-right the right-wingers in unimaginative right-wing cuntery. he also pops up on a few Zionist boards, giving it the biggun.
Like I said to him after he started his pro-Zionist shit, "your missus will have you living in a settlement in the West Bank taking potshots at Palestinians within 5 years, and you'll fucking love it".

I remember him. He was pretty middle of the road. Shame how the soft-headed lurch to the right as they age.

He'd been in an incredibly-bad relationship, and after a couple of years on his tod, he met someone new. Whereas most of us will change little things about ourselves for our new partners - stuff like no longer leaving pubes on the soap, or farting every time Graham Norton is on the telly - kbj changed everything about himself. he changed his political views from left to right, he swapped his social tolerance for intolerance, and he converted to Judaism (the full Megilla, including foreskin-removal!) for the sake of his new relationship.
I can only hope he doesn't end up eating a gun-barrel if his relationship ever goes south. :(

Sometimes shit gets stuck in customs, its a real pain in the arse if its important stuff you've promised your clients.
